1. Acceptance of Terms

By (i) accessing or using sharedegr.com (Website), (ii) making reservations through it, or (iii) workspace, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use this site or the workspaces at SharedEGR. You are responsible to ensure that anyone you allow or bring onto the Premises comply with these Terms.

2. About Shared Coworking EGR

Shared Coworking EGR is a boutique, on-call office suite located at 644 Lovett Ave SE, Suite C, Grand Rapids, MI 49506 (Premises) in Gaslight Village in East Grand Rapids, Michigan. The site facilitates reservations for private offices, conference rooms, coworking lounge passes, coworking café space, and related services. The Premises are used for hotel style office use.

3. Reservations and Bookings

Making a Reservation. Reservations may be made (i) online through the Website, (ii) via the Shared mobile app, or (iii) by staff upon request. By making a reservation, you represent that all information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to make the reservation. Member hours are 8:00am until 6:00pm. Regular business hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Member hours and regular hours are "Hours of Operation". Reservations at other times may be made only through staff, and the rates on the Website do not apply to any such reservations.

Availability. All spaces are subject to availability. Confirmation of your booking constitutes a reservation, not a guarantee of any specific room or amenity beyond the category booked. Shared may move your reservation into any room up to the start time of the reservation.

Member vs. Day Pass Reservations. Certain booking options (such as the Private Office Member Pass) are available only to active plan members with monthly auto-pay memberships. Day pass and hourly rates are available to all guests as described on the Reservations page, or may require manual staff confirmation, at our sole discretion.

Age Restrictions. Our website and services are intended for adults and are not directed at children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly. No guests under the age of 18 will be permitted to use the Premises except under the supervision of an adult. Any adult bringing a child under 18 to the space agrees to indemnify the owner against claims related to the child's use to the fullest extent permitted by law.

4. Payments and Pricing

Pricing is listed on the Website, and is subject to change up until the time of booking and pricing changes will not affect confirmed reservations or existing pricing plans. Pricing varies by space type, duration and number of visitors in your party. Payment transactions are processed through our third-party booking and payment processors. We may require you to store your full credit card number with our third-party processors. Please review the privacy policies of any payment processor used at the time of your transaction for details on how they handle your financial data.

By using workspace at the Premises, you agree to make a reservation and pay or the workspace(s) used. If you use the workspace without a reservation, you nonetheless expressly agree that SharedEGR may charge you at the highest listed daily rate (including for use for less than a full day), without discounts or payment plan use. You expressly permit SharedEGR to charge your saved payment method for any such use without a reservation.

Much like a hotel, you may request early arrival or late departure hours outside the Hours of Operation for an additional fee. Use of the Premises outside of the Hours of Operation will be charged by SharedEGR for each hour or partial hour at a rate of $5 per hour for coworking, $10 per hour for office, and $50 per hour for conference room.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

SharedEGR will honor all cancellations made at least 48 hours in advance. Members and punch card reservations may cancel office reservations up to 24 hours in advance. For cancellations less than 48 hours, SharedEGR has cancellation fees policies specifically configured on its booking page, and which are based on the cost of the service, the the opportunity loss determined by SharedEGR for each service, how far in advance the cancellation made, and other factors. In no event is a cancellation fee greater than 50% of the reservation amount. No-shows will not be refunded, except in the sole discretion of SharedEGR. Late requests for rescheduling will be honored in the sole discretion of SharedEGR. Please contact jon@sharedegr.com with any cancellation policy questions. All recurring pricing plans are on a month-to-month basis and may be cancelled at any time for any reason or no reason, provided that cancellation by a customer will be effective at the end of the current plan month, before the next payment is processed. Cancellation of a payment plan by SharedEGR will refunded for the unused benefit of the payment plan for the current month.

6. Guest Rules; Conduct

All guests are expected to maintain a professional, respectful environment. Shared Coworking EGR is a shared, hotel style, owner-operated space. The following apply to all visitors:

Upon request by SharedEGR, a guest may be required to provide proof of commercial liability insurance, umbrella insurance, worker’s comp insurance, automobile insurance, or any other such policy as SharedEGR may request.
By using SharedEGR, guests acknowledge that they are a licensee, and not a tenant. No number of licenses to use Shared shall constitute a leasehold, and all use is limited to the Hours of Operation, or otherwise by appointment confirmed by Shared. Access without a reservation is strictly prohibited. In the event you nonetheless assert that you have tenant’s rights, you agree that such tenancy is month-to-month and may be cancelled by either party pursuant to Section 5 above.
Team reservations are intended for coworkers and business partners. SharedEGR values the exposure that comes with a casual, drop-in visitors. To best manage resources and costs, SharedEGR requires that guests pay an add-on fee for additional meetings outside of their immediate team, or reserve a meeting/conference space to host a meeting with a customer, vendor or other third party. You expressly permit SharedEGR to charge your payment card for the appropriate add-on guest fees, or for an appropriate meeting reservation fee.
The space is to be used only for business office or other uses expressly permitted by Shared. Guests may not use the space for unlawful purposes.
Noise levels should be kept at a level appropriate for a business office setting.
Guests are responsible for leaving their reserved space in the same condition in which it was found. In the event any supplies are running short, please let us know. Mistakes happen, and you agree to replace any fixtures, furnishings or equipment which are damaged as a result of you misuse, whether or not intentional.
Shared may not be staffed during the Hours of Operation, in which case guests may be given access by keypad for entry during their reservation; guests may not access Shared outside of the Hours of Operation without express permission from Shared. Providing your keypad access code to any third party is strictly prohibited.
Guests must ensure that Shared is securely locked in the event that no staff is on site at the conclusion of their reservation.
Shared reserves the right to refuse or end service to any guest who disrupts the office or violates these terms.
SharedEGR is a tenant subject to a commercial lease, which includes the building rules of its landlord. All guests must strictly adhere to any such rules. Rules include, for example: no smoking indoors, no weapons, no pets, no hazardous materials, etc. The license from SharedEGR to use the Premises is subordinate to SharedEGR’s lease.
Use of the parking lot is strictly reserved for guests with paid reservations. Use of the lot at any other time is subject to towing by the property owner.

7. Amenities

Included amenities (such as Wi-Fi, parking, snacks, beverages, printing, and notary services) are provided as a courtesy and are subject to availability. Shared makes reasonable efforts to maintain all listed amenities but does not guarantee their continuous availability. Please notify staff when consumable amenities (i.e. tissue and similar paper products) are used so that staff can replace them.

8. Limitation of Liability

Shared will not undertake any duty to provide for the safety of its guests, except those obligations under the law. You are responsible for your property while you use SharedEGR, and SharedEGR is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of any personal property brought onto the Premises. Use of the Premises and its amenities is at the guest's own risk. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHARED'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM USE OF THIS SITE OR ITS SPACES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE APPLICABLE RESERVATION, AND YOU EXPRESSLY WAIVE ALL CLAIMS IN EXCESS OF THAT AMOUNT.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and layout — is owned by or licensed to Shared Coworking EGR. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any site content without prior written permission.

10. Privacy Policy

Information you provide when making a reservation (such as your name, contact details, and payment information) is used solely to process and manage your bookings. Shared Coworking EGR does not sell personal information to third parties.

The internet, networks, and other systems at Shared are used by multiple guests. It is your responsibility to safeguard the confidentiality of your work and communications. You agree to reimburse Shared for all costs associated with any damage or disruption to its network for failure keep your device(s) clear of malicious or intrusive operations. We take reasonable steps to protect your information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

SHARED MAY USE VIDEO SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS THROUGHOUT THE COMMON AREA OF THE PREMISES AND BY ENTRY TO THE PREMISES, YOU EXPRESSLY CONSENT TO SUCH RECORDING. SHARED DOES NOT RECORD INSIDE ANY ENCLOSED OFFICE, MEETING OR RESTROOMS AT THE PREMISES.

Information you provide directly. When you create an account, make a reservation, contact us, or sign up for our mobile app, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, payment information, and any messages you send us.

Reservation data. When you book a space — whether a private office, conference room, coworking lounge pass, or other service — we collect details about the booking including dates, times, space type, and any special requests.

Account and membership data. If you purchase a membership plan or punch card, we maintain records of your plan type, usage history, and billing information.

Communications. If you email us at jon@sharedegr.com, book a tour, or contact us through the website, we retain those communications to respond to you and improve our service.

Website usage data. Like most websites, we and our platform provider (Wix.com) may automatically collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs. This data is used in aggregate to understand how visitors use the site.

We use the information we collect to:

Process and manage your reservations and membership
Send booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts
Respond to your questions and requests
Operate the Shared mobile app and website
Send occasional updates about Shared events, new spaces, or services (you may opt out at any time)
Maintain the security and smooth operation of our spaces and systems
Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only in limited circumstances:

Service providers. We work with third-party vendors to operate our website and reservation system (including Wix.com), process payments, and send communications. These providers are only permitted to use your data to perform services on our behalf.

Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our guests, staff, or property.

Business transfers. If Shared Coworking EGR is ever sold or transferred, your information may transfer as part of that transaction. We will notify you if this occurs.

We do not share your information with advertisers or unaffiliated third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Our website is built on Wix.com, which uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. You may be able to control cookie settings through your browser, though some site features may not function properly if cookies are disabled. We do not use cookies to track you across unaffiliated websites.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active, as needed to provide services, and as required for legitimate business or legal purposes (such as billing records). If you would like your information deleted, please contact us and we will do so where legally permissible. By requesting removal of your data, you understand that you will no longer be permitted as a guest at Shared and that any future reservations may be automatically cancelled and refunded by Shared at its sole discretion.

You may at any time:

Update or correct your account information by contacting us
Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
Request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you

11. Changes to These Terms

Shared Coworking EGR may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of the Website or the Premises after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
